💟 CUTEST HIGH PAW! 💟
I just love how natural and perfect this moment is 😘💕💕 However, if you look at the top “before” version, the bright lamp post is distracting and too close to Niko mummy’s face. It was very challenging for me to shift angle while lying down + trying to capture the moment. So I reminded myself to fix the lamp post in post production.
After I’ve removed the lamp post, your eyes will be able to focus much better at the bonding between them.
Usually, the amount of time I take to do photo-processing after each shoot takes around 6-8 hours, it’s pain-staking work indeed.
This is just a behind-the-scene look at the effort that goes behind each photo that nobody will ever know. But now you know! 😊

💟 BEST FRIENDS FOREVER 💟
Jewel (14 yr old) and Shadow (15 yr old) grew up together since puppyhood but sadly, sweet Jewel recently passed away. It’s heart-breaking to post these photos knowing that Jewel is no longer with us 😢 Stay strong Shadow 💕 Treasure your loved ones 💟

As much as I am a Wildlife Photographer at heart, I have a soft spot for Pet Photography too (which is what i do for a living for the most part in Singapore) Can you imagine my excitement when I was informed that I can photograph a dog for my wildlife photography assignment for Kagoshima, Japan? I literally jumped from my seat in joy 😀
This lovely dog is Shiro (possibly a Shiba Inu x Japanese Spitz) at A Thousand Gingko Trees in Tarumizu City. He is one of the most energetic dog I’ve ever met, happily running and sniffing around that I almost couldn’t keep up with him. You will hear me saying “Shiro, suwatte!” as i ran after him. 😄 Towards the end of the shoot, finally captured his sweet little face against the sun-lit gingko trees in the background. Mission accomplished! 😀

Bailey (10 mth old) and Skye (1 yr old) had so much fun at our photoshoot at Marina Barrage! It took lots of NGs to get this shot. Skye would dart off to the left to chase birds. Bailey would run to the right to find mummy. Hehe… But I’m super glad to finally capture the two of them together, makes me smile to see them having so much fun
Their peektures always makes me smile! 😀 Sometimes, while editing photos, i will suddenly feel my cheeks and mouth aching (I’ve been smiling for a long time without realising, that’s why!) 😀
Have a pawsome weekend with ur furkids!

It’s Shadow’s 18th barkday today & we celebrated it at East Coast Park! 😀
The days leading to this shoot has been tough for Shadow as he was suddenly hospitalised due to his failing kidneys. Thankfully, he got better and his vet allowed his mummy to check him out yesterday, to make it for this morning’s photo shoot.
It was a challenging shoot as Shadow can’t see nor hear much, and he got tired and fell asleep a few times. However, Shadow did his very best. I can see it through my viewfinder how hard he tried to lift his head and open his eyes big and round for us, even though he is tired. Shadow, at 18 yrs-old is equivalent to 100 in human years but he still has that handsome boyish charm, and I am really glad I have captured that today. Jia you Shadow! 💟
P.S. Yes that’s the no. 18th rock platform at East Coast Beach! 😉
UPDATE 15th MAY : Just came back from visiting Shadow (18 yr-old JRT) earlier in the evening at his home for photo-viewing! Very happy to see that Shadow is doing much better now! Isn’t Shadow photogenic and super handsome in this peekture?
